LIVE SHOW COVERAGE: FRACTURE

Metal heads rejoice – these boys are ready to put your moshing skills to the test. Fracture (or Fracture 818 as they are lovingly known on the internet) is a metal band hailing from Los Angeles, after the founding members took the plunge to move to California to pursue their musical endeavor. “With a distinct sound they like to call ‘beautifully brutal,’ Fracture combines catchy clean choruses with brutal breakdowns and down tuned grooves similar to bands such as Machine Head, Gojira and NothingFace. Their fanbase has grown rapidly due to their hard work ethic, national radioplay, and consistent shows in the West Coast region. Opening for acts such as SevenDust, 36 Crazyfists, Act of Defiance, Memphis May Fire, and The Defiled just add to the reason why they are becoming a fan favorite in Los Angeles.”

With the release of their latest album, The Search for Solace, this show could not have come at a better time. Celebrating Skumlove’s birthday and Fracture’s CD release at the world famous Whisky a Go Go, Fracture helped electrify the night with their heavy rhythm and intense sound! With lighting that gracefully complimented each and every track the band performed, Fracture were as much visual as they were audio. You could truly see the passion and intensity in the eyes and performance of each member, a quality that will take this act to high places very soon. Waylon Jennings, John Caison, Iorden Mitev, and Brandon Jorge Alayon are here to take over.
