Who are you and what is your role in the band?
Jesse and I play Bass.
How did the band get started?
The band started after the punk band Chambers broke up and the band minus the singer started a new more rock and roll group with a new singer, Jerry Jones from the band Trophy Scars.
Who are your influences and how do they play a role in your sound?
We all bring different influences, but collectively I’d say Nick Cave, Sabbath, John Paul Jones, Queens of the Stone Age. Leap of Love came from a summer of me and Joe, our guitarist, listening to Sabbath riffs every day at our studio.
What has been your most meaningful experience being in this band so far?
Recording our new album Leap of Love in the mountains of Virginia in a haunted cabin with my best friends. Kevin Antreassian from Dillinger Escape Plan came down with us for a whole week to track the record and we had the time of our lives.
Favorite memory from a show you’ve played or a place you’ve traveled?
We recently were invited to perform with the Burlesque Troop Babe Coven at their latest performance and it was a blast. Babes and Butts on stage during our set!
What do you hope to accomplish with your music?
We all have a central goal of touring the world and share our art with as many people as possible.
Something about you that no one knows?
I draw the best, most detailed dog dicks. Ask Joe, he loves them.
What is next for the band?
We are already writing a follow up record to Leap of Love, it’s going to be more artistic and deep, we have been drinking Pinot Grigio and listening to the Bad Seeds non stop for a month.
Anything else you want to add?
We have a new video about to drop for our song “Lavish Sum of Dread”, and it was a painstakingly long production, and we hope you all love it once it comes out !
