There appears to be a bit of an Industrial renaissance continuing since last Summer, with new electronic producers moving into the genre, new albums from old favorites (Combichrist, Dope, and Fear Factory), as well as anticipation for new gems from My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, Lords of Acid, and Marilyn Manson, among others, so imagine our pleasure when two of our favorite, old school Chicago Wax Trax! veterans, Groovie Mann (TKK) and John D. Norten (Blue Eyed Christ) joined up to form their new project, Trash Deity, back in November. To say that we loved their debut track, “Finger on a Trigger,” would be an understatement, and we were pleasantly surprised to fall even more in love with the title track off of their upcoming album, Run 3 Your Lies!. Equal parts headbanging rock and dance floor panty dropper, “Run 4 Your Lies!” has us hoping that we don’t have to wait another 7 months for another dose of their trashy ear medicine!
