Echo Black, on tour with the Genitorturers made a stop in Portland, OR at Portland’s historic Star Theater and completely stunned those in attendance. The NYC based disco rockers with their unique sound and bold appearance soon had hands waving, hips gyrating and bodies bumping to songs like “Dawn”, “Chemicals” and “Poison Apple”.
The intimate Star Theater proved to be far too small for these larger than life personalities. Lead singer Danny Blu, guitarist Felix Skiver, bassist Rob Gnarly, and drummer Billy Long are a finely tuned force to be reckoned with. They are still on tour with dates through mid-November. So, get out your freak flags and fly them proudly. Echo Black is a blast.
