It’s not every day that a track from an artist I have never heard from comes across my desk that makes me stop what I am doing and just listen. Luckily, that happened last week with alternative artist, TRACES. For those of you who like your rock a little lighter and your emotive screams a little softer, TRACES may be just what you’re looking for!
On October 10th, the world can get the full TRACES experience with the release of his debut EP, Heart of Gold. With a voice destined to fill arenas, the young LA based singer/songwriter is making some noise in the industry, despite being pretty new to the scene. His first single “Majesty” premiered on the tastemaker website Milk. Alongside that, he’s gathered Spotify’s attention. This gave him a major push into the spotlight of those looking for the next big thing. He’s definitely one that we here at RockRevolt think you need to keep tabs on! His influences define genre specifics, ranging from R&B to Indie, Soul and Blues to Hip-Hop. He truly encapsulates the “something for everyone” vein.
