At what point did the band
get together and record your
first RP?
Well, we ... I started the band
in 2010, the very end of the
year, and it took us like three
months to finish a six song EP
that's no longer online. I think
there might be a few songs
that leaked, but ... So, we
just instantly wrote songs and
then we were on tour in like,
five months. So, the band just
kind of, from the connections
initially, just kind of launched
really fast. Within six months
we were already on the road
with a six song EP. So, it didn't
quite work out with all the
people, I think it was kind of
rushed in, and there wasn't a
very good strong foundation
with the core members, but
yeah.
We have another EP that we
released after that, "Escape
the Nightmare" was the first
one, "Skeleton EP" was the
second one. And then those
are no longer online. We just
took them down. I was like,
"We're just gonna start fresh,"
and when we find a label, we
worked on "Never Alone", and
that was pretty much the first
legitimate full-length release
for Stitched Up Heart.
Is it hard to find, sort of,
consistency with the frequent
lineup change? Or do you
feel like it's just part of the
growing process?
Yeah, I definitely think it's a
part of the growing process,
especially these days. There's
