As we previously announced, Mastodon will headline their first North American tour in support of their new studio album, Once More ‘Round the Sun starting on October 15 in Boise. Tickets go on sale today! The globally-celebrated hard rock masters are expected to perform songs from the new album, along with crowd favorites from their five other studio albums. The tour will once again feature the celebrated and previously sold-out lineup of Gojira as main support and Kverlertak opening each show.
“We are thrilled to do another leg with Gojira and Kverlertak joining us once again, this time with our new album out and hitting different markets. Should be a good one!” Mastodon said in a press release.
Both Gojira and Kverlertak express their excitement for the upcoming tour.
“The sold out tour we did with Mastodon earlier this year was such a great experience for all of us, we are really excited to do it again this fall,” Gojira said.
“The previous tour we did with these guys is the best tour we’ve ever been on, both socially and sonically, we can’t wait to do it all over again. It’s going to be a fucking blast,” Erlend Hjelvik from Kvelertak said in a press release.
There will be no heavier, louder or cooler triumvirate of rock on the road together this year!
