SLIPKNOT announces tours, Grammy nod

SLIPKNOT announced the North American leg of their Prepare For Hell tour beginning this April with an array of spring festivals, including Ft. Myers, Florida’s Fort Rock (April 25), Jacksonville, Florida’sWelcome To Rockville (April 26), Concord, North Carolina’s Carolina Rebellion (May 2-3) Somerset, Wisconsin’s Northern Invasion (May 9), and Columbus, Ohio’s Rock On The Range (May 15-17).

SLIPKNOT will also embark on a massive summer headline tour Summer’s Last Stand with special GUESTS LAMB OF GOD, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE and MOTIONLESS IN WHITE. The North American tour is set to kickoff July 24 in West Palm Beach, FL and continue through early September wrapping up in Dallas on September 5. Tickets are already available. SLIPKNOT is currently on tour in the U.K. and Europe then heading to Australia for the Soundwave Festival from February 21 to March 1.

SLIPKNOT is also nominated for their eighth Grammy in the category of Best Metal Performance for their song ‘The Negative One’. The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 8, 2015, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The show will be broadcast live by CBS at 5:00 p.m. PST. Rapper LL Cool J will host the show for the fourth consecutive time.
