Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens is one busy man – he’s become a bit of a journeyman vocalist the last few years with several projects having been announced and released. Earlier this month saw the release of Spirits Of Fire – his collaboration with TSO and Savatage
This band is titled A New Revenge and their debut album will roll out on March 29th. Titled Enemies and Lovers – the albums first song and video just dropped – pop in those earbuds and give a listen to Never Let You Go.
Joining Owens on this venture is long time Alice Cooper and LA Guns guitarist Keri Kelli – former Ozzy and Quiet Riot bassist Rudy Sarzo and of Scorpions fame, drummer James Kottak. Interesting to hear Ripper going with a more subdued vocal style but I would be lying to you if I didn’t admit that I kind of dig it.
Going to be interested in seeing what the rest of their album sounds like – and we won’t have to wait long – next week brings the goods.
