Mushroomhead, The Browning, and Sunflower Dead made the trek to Trees in Dallas, TX, on May 15, 2017. This was just one day after an incident with their tour bus. The crew was on their way to the Scout Bar in Houston when the accident occurred. Richard ’Stitch’ Thomas said that they were just outside of the city when their bus collided with two cars on the highway. Luckily, Thomas said that no one was injured in the accident.
Their sixteen-song set caused the stage to pulse with energy, and the crowd sang every word while not thrashing about in a fervor only Mushroomhead can bring about. From “Our Apologies” to “These Filthy Hands,” there wasn’t any doubt in anyone’s mind that Mushroomhead came to kick ass and take names. And, that’s exactly what they did. Trees in Dallas will never be the same…
