LIVE PICS: Sons of Texas, Drowning Pool and Hellyeah

A great show was had at the Warehouse Live Houston, a free ticket event from the Black Limousine Concert Series featuring local band Sons of Texas, Drowning Pool, and headliner, Hellyeah.

Son’s of Texas played a sterling set, Drowning Pool caught the audience by the seat of their pants, and Hellyeah only got to hammer out a few of their songs: the show was interrupted and cut short by Theresa from 94.5 The Buzz with an announcement that began, “There is an ammonia leak in the back and we have to slowly evacuate the building”.

“Well, we just wanna say thank you, Houston, and sorry there was an emergency and the building had to be cleared!!! We don’t know if it was ISIS, a natural gas leak, a chemical leak or what, but three quarters through our show, we were ushered off the stage by venue experts. We’re pissed, but we had no choice but to comply for the safety of our fans. We love you, Houston, and we wanna come back and make it up to you soon.” HELLYEAH drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott

It was discovered that one of the pipes for the cooling system at the Freedman Food Services warehouse had cracked and leaked ammonium. No injuries were reported as a result of the leak. Read more Blabbermouth.
