First ever Exit 111 Festival features more than 40 acts including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Def Leppard and Guns N’ Roses

Exit 111

The inaugural Exit 111 festival hosted by Eddie Trunk debuts with more than 40 acts on three stages plus thrilling experiences. The lineup features headliners Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Slayer, ZZ Top, Deftones, Ghost, Coheed and Cambria, Lamb of God, Mastodon and Megadeth. The new event will be held at Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee, spanning three days Oct. 11 – 13.

Other acts on the rock-heavy lineup include Seether, Black Label Society, Gojira, Cheap Trick, Blackberry Smoke, Nothing More, Sleeping with Sirens, Fever 333, New Years Day, Alter Bridge, Ministry, Skillet, Of Mice and Men, Thrice, From Ashes to New, Black Stone Cherry, The Cadillac Three, 10 Years and more.

New Years Day just released a new video for their song “Shut Up” from brand-new album Unbreakable. The video pays tribute to horror flick American Psycho with Sirius XM’s Jose Mangin getting axed by News Years Day singer Ash Costello.

“When we recorded the song ‘Shut Up’, I knew right then and there, on that day, straight away, what I wanted to do if we were ever to make a music video for it,” said Costello. “It came to me immediately. So when the time came and ‘Shut Up’ was chosen for a music video, I was thrilled because it meant that I’d get to make my vision come to life, which was to recreate one of my favorite horror movies of all time, American Psycho.”

Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society released an insane new video for their jam “Bored To Tears.” Keeping their heavy sound in check, the video features confetti, gumdrops, dancing cows, fire, and literally everything else that helps keep your mind off boredom.

“With the new Black Label super exciting Technicolor dream coat high-calorie-burning video for ‘Bored To Tears’, I told Black Label director o’ doom and delight, Father Justin Reich, that I wanted to do an exciting and tough-looking video in the movie genre style of Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson,” Wylde said. “After seeing the video, apparently Father Justin Reich doesn’t know who these legendary film icons are or has them confused with two other actors named Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson. Every time I watch this video, I’m more confused than I was during the previous viewing.”

Produced by C3 Presents and AC Entertainment, the massive 700-acre festival site – home of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival – will be transformed into a rock and roll playground with 12 hours of music daily, camping and a variety of activities.

In between rocking out, the festival offers on-site adventures like the Paranormal Cirque where concert goers can step under a tent and experience a world of combined theater, circus, and cabaret where acrobats of the air, illusionists, freaks, and mysterious creatures bring the tent to life for one very paranormal experience.

Guests can also enjoy the Red Bull Freestyle Motorcross Experience action sports athlete Tyler Bereman along with some of the best freestyle motocross riders in the world will be showcasing their insane talents and jaw-dropping stunts at Exit 111. Concert goers can also get ready for the first ever all makes, all models Exit 111 Car Show throughout the festival grounds. All experiences are free to all Exit 111 ticket holders.

Sports fans rejoice – rock hard, play hard. You won’t miss the big game this weekend thanks to the Mega Sports Bar – the biggest damn sports bar you’ve ever seen. It’ll have everything college football and the NFL to Baseball and hockey games. If it’s YOUR big game, it’ll be there, so grab a beer and get into it.

Festival promoters have teams with Seether frontman Shaun Morgan’s Rise Above charity. One of the stages will be named as the Rise Above Stage and Exit 111 will donate $1.00 from every ticket sold to Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE) to assist in raising funds for the charity’s life-saving suicide awareness efforts.

“I started this cause as a tribute to anyone who has lost someone,” Morgan said. “If Rise Above does something to help one person reconsider the tragic choice of suicide, then it will be the greatest success of my career.”

Weekends and single day tickets go on sale Thursday, April 25, 2019, at noon EST at Exit 111’s website. The site also offers a variety of ticketing options (GA, VIP, four-pack, military discounts and payment plans), add-ons, camping and parking options.
