Kansas City’s own Tech N9ne performed for the first time ever on the KC Live! stage at the Power and Light District in Kansas City, MO on September 13, 2015 in an effort to give back to the community. KC Live! is an entire city block with two levels of restaurants, taverns and night spots with an open air full-concert stage in the middle of it all and it was packed with a sea of Tech fans. Also on the stage with Tech N9ne was Krizz Kaliko with Stevie Stone and CES Cru.
Proceeds from the event went to Operation Breakthrough which is the largest single-site early education child care and social services facility in the state of Missouri serving over 400 children daily from the urban core.
“Charity is our thing man, we do it every year”, Tech said. “We do a lot of charitable things here at Strange Music because you can’t keep it all for yourself, you shouldn’t.”
Tech N9ne starts his Canadian tour in September 22, 2015 and has been working on his new album “Strangulation 2’ that will be completed towards the end of this month.
