A feast of delights for all the senses, Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood stood still while the modern titans of metal hit the stage and made a glorious noise!
Rockrevolt photographer, Josh Rienecke, succumbed to the metal infused into his system as he pointed his lens toward the stage. The first dose he received that evening was a searing infusion of Venom, the latest and greatest from Bullet For My Valentine. With crowd favorites “You Want A Battle? (Here’s A War)” and “Army of Noise” Josh almost lost his sense of direction and almost became one with the pit.

Next up to bring the masses to their knees were the wielders of all that rocks, Randy Blythe’s very own Lamb of God. As Randy stormed the stage, Josh’s camera remained cool and steady as he captured every dreadlocked whip of his mighty mane. “512”, “Overlord”, the latest releases from VII: Sturm Und Drang were received with vehement rapture, and again Josh was there to capture the moments of LoG glory!

Lakewood would never be same after Lamb of God, but the small town itself imploded under the weight of the leviathan, Slipknot. Chaos saturated the minds and bodies of all present, as well as those within 10 miles of the town as Slipknot ripped the amphitheater into a small pile of rubble. Ravenous fans were all that remained, looking for a heavy metal fix…and their fix they did receive. Corey dished out as much “Killpop” and “Custer” as the fans could take, but their frenzy demanded more. Once he unleashed “The Devil in I”, the fate of the world teetered in the balance…and Josh stood there in the middle of the madness, shooting away as the pandemonium reached proportions that were beyond human control.
