‘Ripper’ Owens Forms New Group - ‘A New Revenge’ - First Song And Video Is Ready To Attack Your Senses

Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens is one busy man - he’s become a bit of a journeyman vocalist the last few years with several projects having been announced and released. Earlier this month saw the release of Spirits Of Fire - his collaboration with TSO and Savatage axe master Chris Caffery. So, I was a bit surprised when I got the news today that yet another “supergroup” has been formed with Owens handling the vocal duties.

This band is titled A New Revenge and their debut album will roll out on March 29th. Titled Enemies and Lovers - the albums first song and video just dropped - pop in those earbuds and give a listen to Never Let You Go.

Joining Owens on this venture is long time Alice Cooper and LA Guns guitarist Keri Kelli - former Ozzy and Quiet Riot bassist Rudy Sarzo and of Scorpions fame, drummer James Kottak. Interesting to hear Ripper going with a more subdued vocal style but I would be lying to you if I didn’t admit that I kind of dig it.

Going to be interested in seeing what the rest of their album sounds like - and we won’t have to wait long - next week brings the goods.
