9Electric
It has been a not so silent last few years for the boys of 9Electric, so fitting they end out 2016 on the Not So Silent Tour with Drowning Pool and Red Tide Rising. The night before their last show of the year 9Electric rolled in to Aftershock in Merriam, KS ready to remind KC what they were all about. It had been a few months since 9Electric had rolled through and they were ready to let everyone know they were back in town.
Building a reputation as one of the best live bands in the industry, 9Electric brings to the stage am intense energy and sound that penetrates the soul and reminds everyone that rock in not dead, it is just fighting a tough battle with bullshit pop music in an era full of oversensitive pussies that just can’t handle a good kick in the teeth. Okay, sorry I had that pent up in me for a while. 9Electric to me is just another example of a great new band that is caught in the flux of the currently changing music industry. I feel that they have recognized that and that they have honed their craft into the live show juggernaut that they are today.
Before the show, we were able to jump on board the bus and have a chat with Mr. Ron “Thunderwood” Underwood and discuss the current state of music and the fact that they are an unstoppable touring machine.
