DEVICE/DISTURBED SINGER DAVID DRAIMAN DOES PSA VIDEO ABOUT BULLYING

David Draiman, frontman for both Device and Disturbed taped a three-minute public service announcement (PSA) for the Musicians Opposed To Bullying (M.O.B.) on their web site. In a soft-spoken voice, David addresses the ever-growing problem of bullying; particularly cyber-bullying*, which has become the most common means of to harass or humiliate others using the internet, social media and texting. Check it out and share….

In checking out the M.O.B. site, we came across this other awesome PSA anti-bullying video made last year by Maria Brink of In This Moment, in which she shares that she too was bullied in high school.

We found it very poignant that both of these dynamic, talented musicians that RR has covered extensively of late took the time to make these videos. They are both amazingly kind and giving artists. We wonder what their bullies are up to these days? We’re betting they aren’t famous rockstars, beloved by millions of fans around the world.

As for David and Maria - here is a picture of them at Rock On The Range 2013, as they sang the duet “Close My Eyes Forever” together….

* Chicken-shit, stalker bullies use this method most often (not a scientific statistic - just a hunch)
