Ever since the creation of the X-Men comics, cartoons, and the movies we have all wondered what it would be like to have a mutant gene. Well, for one man, it may not be a mutant gene but he sure has powers unlike anyone else. Jamie Keeton, also known as “Can Head”, is one of only four people in the world that has a rare medical condition that causes his body to suck in more oxygen than anyone else. This causes his skin to act as a human suction cup. An object that is non- porous will stick to his skin. Not only that; he has super human strength, heals at a higher rate, and does not age as fast. As a kid he was scared to show his abilities but the X-Men helped give him the strength and confidence to show to the world what he was capable of. I had the pleasure of meeting Can Head at a Korn and Ded concert in Kansas City on September 29th, 2017. Amazed at what he was capable of and at the pure joy and happiness he brought to the people around him, I asked if we could sit down and have a conversation. Thankfully Can Head accepted and I was able to spend some time with the real-life X-Man.
