Senior journalist Anabel DFlux had the wonderful opportunity of chatting with Epica’s very own Isaac Delahaye on Friday afternoon before their Los Angeles performance at the Novo. In an effort to avoid the loudness of sound check, the two went out to the smoking patio to talk about the band’s newest EP The Solace System, the wonders of performing in the City of Angels, and some gear talk for the fanciers. Midway through the chat, they were graciously joined by keyboardist Coen Janssen who gave them his thoughts on all things Epica.
